Labarre Associates, Inc. has joined ranks of local organizations in the Greater Baton Rouge region that have been designated as WellSpots by the Louisiana Department of Health(LDH). WellSpots are spaces and places throughout our state that make the healthy choice the easy choice to help their communities live well.
LDH designates organizations as WellSpots after they voluntarily meet wellness benchmarks that correspond to their organization type - worksite, childcare center, school, college/university, restaurant, faith-based organization, healthcare facility, or hospital. This could mean going tobacco-free, offering healthy vending options, or implementing worksite wellness programming. These benchmarks not only impact the organization’s employees but also those that it serves – students, patients, patrons and more.

As a WellSpot, Labarre Associates joins over 2,800 leaders throughout the state that are putting the health and wellness of Louisiana’s residents first. Besides promoting tobacco cessation and implementing a tobacco-free policy for their worksite, Labarre Associates provides a well-rounded worksite wellness program with fitness challenges, financial health education, mental health education, and strong employee support which creates a culture of wellness with a high employee engagement rate.
