Labarre Associates has been named Medium Sized Business of the Year, alongside Forte & Tablada (Large BotY) and Integrity Insurance (Small BotY).
We could not be more humbled by this announcement within a room full of friends and colleagues such as Large Business of the Year Forte & Tablada and guest speaker Celton Hayden, Jr. from CC's Coffeehouse.
We began this adventure of doing business 34 years ago and in those 34 years we were able to build a great, great group of people that make our organization successful. Recently, through initiatives started by our employees, we have become more and more community oriented with volunteering and supporting local charities, such as the LoveLP Litter Initiative, March of Dimes, CANstruction, Fuller Houses, Walk for Autism, and more. Labarre has embraced employee development and pushing the envelope with new service lines like Design Optimization which amps up collaboration between trades and designers for building projects, and designing, building, and maintaining the first WELL-Registered project in the State of Louisiana.
“I was very surprised that we were named for this award but very gratified. The group of people who work for and around us deserved this award,” Jay Labarre said in an interview to Livingston Parish News.
We also could not do this without the support and trust of our clients, both repeat and new, who we have met along the way. These professional bonds may not be greatly understood publicly, but when you hear an honored speaker like Celton Hayden, Jr. say about getting things done after the 2016 Flood, "Jay Labarre saved my life. I tell him that every time I see him." We know we are on the right path.
