Christ the King Church

Christ the King Adoration Chapel

Christ the King Church, on LSUs campus, had a longtime dream of having a dedicated space for an adoration chapel in their church facilities. They had an unused room in the interior of their facility with no windows, low ceilings, and old wood paneled walls. They felt there was opportunity to create the space they wanted. Labarre Associates was able to design, demo, and build Christ the King a beautiful place of worship that met their needs and aesthetics.

Our client had a vision of a chapel with old stone and wood. They wanted it to feel as if the space had been rooted there for a long time. Labarre suggested the barrel vault to elevate ceilings, give a sense of grandeur, and open the room.
